Jackie rescued her Podenco pup, Eddie in May 2021, and started training right away at HDDTS. They overcame many challenges together, and in March 2022, Jackie started trainee training in-house at HDDTS under head trainer Jo’s supervision.
As well as being an Assistant Trainer at Dogology Dogs with Jo and Jodie, Jackie is a volunteer Trainer at HDDTS and a volunteer Trainer and advisor at Hope for Podencos, a rescue dog charity (registered charity number 1212896).
She and her dog, Eddie, have completed the HDDTS Beginners and Improvers 1, 2, and 3. They’ve completed the IMDT grades 1 and 2 and the Bronze Good Citizen award, as well as attending the UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze and Silver grades, amongst trying many other activities together.
Eddie is a constant work in progress and keeps Jackie on her toes with training, which she loves. She’s passionate about dogs and loves helping others find the joy in training their dog too.
